DJ Amatcha Dan (aka Danny Flannery) is a self-confessed musical fruitloop. From the age of just 8 years old his older brother would head out to party, leaving Danny behind with his cassette recorder. Of course, Danny did what any self-respecting 8 year old DJ in the making would do … and recorded Pete Tong on Radio One!
At only 17, Danny got his first taste of DJing … at the legendary Creation in Leeds. The set went well and Danny was asked back but admits he had a shocker and so decided to forget about music.
Five years on though, and after two visits to Ibiza paying homage to legends such as Roger Sanchez, Dirty South, Axwell and Laidback Luke… he felt the calling once more …. it was time to start doing some proper damage on the dancefloor!
