Details are pouring in for this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, taking place at venues around the Dutch city from October 18th through the 20th.

Dozen of parties and over 100 artists have been confirmed for this year’s conference in Amsterdam.

More than 100 DJs and dozens of events have been confirmed in addition to the ones we announced last month. Dutch institutionsClone, Rush Hour andDelsin will team up for a night at Trouw with Delta FunktionenA Made Up SoundLegowelt and San Proper among others. Watergate will bring their 10th anniversary celebrations to conference with a party at Studio 80 featuring Ellen Allien and Miss Kittin. The Amsterdam Convention Factory will play host to a massive Cocoon Heroes party, featuring Ricardo VillalobosRaresh and Guy Gerber. London daytime party veterans Giles Smith and James Priestley will wrap up the weekend with a Secretsundaze event. Have a look at Amsterdam’s event listings for a full cross-section of what’s on that weekend.

The program for the conference itself is also beginning to take shape. Dave Clarke, always a staple of the daytime panels, will conduct a Q&A with Trevor Horn, the so-called “man who invented the ’80s.” Coldcut member and Ninja Tune co-founder Matt Black will deliver a personal history of the past 25 years of electronic music. Industry “game-changers” like Beatport CEO Matt Adell, Electric Daisy’s Pasquale Rotella and Sensation founder Duncan Stutterheim will also be on hand to impart their wisdom.

More details on both portions of the conference are still to come.
